Applications typically last up to 30 days but effectiveness starts to decline after 21 days. We schedule your property to be treated every 14 to 21 days to ensure you're always protected.
We treat everywhere mosquitoes and ticks are active and hide to provide a barrier around your property. Applications start around your properties perimeter where we target dense foliage like trees, shrubs and tall grass. Then, our technicians target area's inside the perimeter to cover any remaining foliage in addition to common areas such as under decks, around fire pits etc.
We provide both natural and synthetic mosquito control options to suit your needs.
Our synthetic treatment contains permethrin, a lab-derived version of pyrethrin, a natural compound found in chrysanthemum flowers. For a natural alternative, we offer a garlic-based spray, available on its own or combined with our synthetic treatment.
We understand that mosquito and tick-borne diseases are a significant health concern across Canada. Both our all-natural garlic spray and synthetic mosquito and tick barrier treatments are regulated by Health Canada and approved by the Pest Management Regulatory Agency for mosquito control. These products have exceptionally low toxicity in mammals. To go the extra mile, we will always insure we never spray any areas of high concern to your loved ones such as children toys, play sets, pet bowls or pet toys.
During the application, its required all people, children and pets remain clear of the area (indoors or off the property) until the service is complete and 30 minutes has elapsed. Once 30 minutes is up, you and your loved ones can go back to enjoying your property mosquito and tick free.
It’s up to you! We'll always contact you the day before treatment and another while we're enroute to ensure you're kept in the loop but you're not required to be home for your property treatments.
One day prior to an application, we will reach out and inform you that we will be coming by your property for an application and also contact you when we're on our way. After an application, we will always leave a small sign that displays the date and time of spray.
After the product completely dries, it is not effected by rain or inclement weather. If it were to rain within 30 minutes following the application, we'll come back for a free respray.
